i have to say something, adding the ability to remove(not change) beads, would be good, i am kind of stuck with the messiah's bead until i get the materials to craft a new one
Very promising progress so far! The game looks awesome, with a mix of ready sprites and live animations. My only complaints so far are only regarding three things:
* Climbing up a ledge feels inconsistent, as sometimes it fails to pull you up the platform you're climbing. Maybe a ledge grab animation would help? * Jumping into 2 tiles high spaces is a bit wonky, as the window to get in those spaces is very small. * While the first boss feels a little bit too easy, the second one is very tanky for how much precise dodging it requires. A health indicator would help, if only to determine that you need to upgrade your weapon for this fight and come back later.
But other than that, I really enjoyed the platforming, and the combat, while still a bit wonky, has a very promising base!
Aside from the somewhat annoying controls (climbing is a lil jank and a lack of coyote time for example), this pretty beautiful game reminds me a lot of Rain world and was generally pretty pleasant.
